(Lincoln City, Oregon) – A famed favorite returns to Lincoln City for spring break: the Festival of Illusions will double this as the Lincoln City Cultural Center’s 14th annual celebration, bringing six of the Northwest’s best-known family entertainers to the coast for a week of performances and workshops. The lineup that hits the central Oregon coast town includes returning favorites Jeff Evans, Louie Foxx, Matt Baker, Joe Black and Professor DB Schreiber. Responding to strong demand, the Bubble Man will offer two matinee shows in addition to the evening schedule. (Above: performing will be the Bubble Man)
2026 Festival of Illusions, March 22-27
Reserved seats for evening shows, workshops and other ticketed events are now on sale through the Lincoln City Cultural Center. Theatre-style seating is priced at 19 dollars for adults, 17 dollars for seniors and students, 11 dollars for kidlets ages 6 to 18, and free for children 5 and under. Prices are all-inclusive for 2026, with no added fees. Membership discounts and complimentary tickets will be accepted.
Daytime activities continue to expand, led by the Brick Gallery’s growing collection of six themed LEGO exhibits. Dive into the world of Harry Potter and other fantastic realms. The popular Hogwarts castle display has been joined by Lego City, Pirate’s Lagoon, Alien Planet, Minecraft and a Lunar New Year installation.

Several exhibits include scavenger hunts designed for visitors of all ages, and a new interactive building area invites young engineers to create and display their own LEGO artwork.
Families can also browse the center’s themed art kits, created by volunteers and Visual Arts Director Krista Eddy. The kits are available by donation while supplies last in the upstairs art-kit room near Margaret’s Meeting Room. Nearly 30,000 kits have been distributed to date.
Two gallery exhibitions will be on view during the festival. The Fiber Arts Studio Gallery will present “Eco Play,” a two-artist show by Sal Strom and Kathleen Caprario-Ulrich that imagines a world shaped by environmental restoration. The PJ Chessman Gallery will feature “Oregon Coast After Dark,” an astrophotography exhibition by Jeremy Likness capturing the region’s night skies.

Louis Foxx
Visitors can also explore the cultural plaza outside the main entrance, where the Cosmography lithoMosaic serves as a mandala-inspired centerpiece celebrating coastal life. Nearby features include Pete Beeman’s kinetic sculpture “Poppy,” the Poetry Path, the Kiwanis patio’s Gary the Octopus seating and the Rotary’s outdoor musical instruments.
The Lincoln City Cultural Center, located at 540 NE Highway 101 in the historic Delake School, will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with extended hours for evening performances throughout festival week. Ticketing and information are available at lincolncity-culturalcenter.org or by calling 541-994-9994.
If you want this tightened into a shorter wire-style brief, I can produce that as well.
