Holidays 2025 - 26: Giving the Oregon Coast Online

Indeed, there's a fun little twist to giving the Oregon coast to your loved one: sometimes it can be done very last minute and rather sneakily so. Let's say, for example, you're getting together with the relatives for Christmas and just before you hit their doorstep you realize you forgot someone. You can theoretically take care of that right on the doorstep – or if you have to – sneak away to the bathroom. Head online, make the purchase and boom: it's there waiting.

Many hotels and vacation rentals will need to do the gift-buying thing over the phone, however. Still, you don't have to go to the mall – and you still support a local business.

Here's a sizable of giving a night at the beach to someone special.

Once again in Lincoln City, A1 Beach Rentals and Whistling Winds Motel wander in gift-giving territory by allowing you to call and buy a certificate. This is then sent to your loved one.

In Newport and Lincoln City, VIP Hospitality Group owns several properties along the beachfront of the two towns. Those who subscribe to their newsletters get some discounts (which you can do at the links), but otherwise call each lovely hotspot to purchase a night at the coast for your pal.
