(Manzanita, Oregon) – What's up with Independence Day on the Oregon coast? There's much more than just fireworks. Aside from a few celebrations, everything is on the fourth. However, some towns stagger their parties or include more than one day's worth.

Brookings. July 4. Sky High 4th of July: a day at the south Oregon coast town's port, with celebrations leading up to the big light show. Live music, beer garden, vendors from the local area and various fun for the kiddies. It runs from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the harbor's boardwalk. www.travelcurrycoast.com/

Gold Beach. July 4: Go 4th on the Rogue River. Show & Shine happening from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fireworks at dusk. https://go4thontherogue.com/

Port Orford Jubilee theme "Keep the Sparks Alive in 2025" features a parade on Highway 101 at 11 a.m. on July 4, Rotary Pancake Breakfast, vendors, dinghy races at Battle Rock Beach, pet show, fireworks after dusk. Bandon, Oregon 4th of July Celebrations. The festivities begin with the annual Independence Day parade, making its way through Hwy 101 and Old Town, bringing the community together in a lively display. Beyond the main events, visitors can take part in unique traditions like the annual Cardboard Boat Regatta, Alive After Five Wine Walk, test their luck at the Bandon Crab Derby, or browse the Port of Bandon Boardwalk Art Show. As evening falls, the grand fireworks display lights up the sky over the Coquille River near the lighthouse. https://bandon.com/

3rd & 4th of July Fireworks Over Coos Bay.

July 3: Ko-Kwel Casino Resort Coos Bay (formerly The Mill Casino) presents a waterfront fireworks display lighting up the bay. Festivities run from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., featuring a food and beer garden.

July 4: Kick off the day with the Firecracker Run, which includes a half-mile kids' race and a 4K run/walk starting at 10 a.m. Stick around for a second night of fireworks as the City of Coos Bay hosts its annual display over the bay at dusk, approximately 10 p.m. For the best views, head to the Coos Bay Boardwalk. Mingus Park Fourth of July Fun. Enjoy a variety of activities at Mingus Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., including the Boy Scouts Hamburger Stand fundraiser, Smokey the Bear appearances with the Coos Forest Protective Association, an ODFW fishing pond, local art displays, and furry friends. Reedsport. No events.

July 4. Florence's Family, Friends, Apple Pie, Parade and Fireworks. Porch Parade and a Bicycle Parade down Bay Street, along with the annual pie and watermelon eating contests, live music, and more in Historic Old Town Florence. Fireworks show over the river. https://florencechamber.com/

Yachats. July 4. The legendary La De Da Parade takes over at noon, featuring a kooky lineup that's always full of humor. At sundown, enjoy a spectacular fireworks show launched over the mouth of the Yachats River. Yachats.org.

Waldport. July 3: Fireworks at 10 p.m. over Alsea Bay. It's the only one on the 3rd now, and a rather impressive display. During the day, explore the area's shopping, dining and beaches. 541.563.3500.

Newport. July 4. Fireworks from Yaquina Bay resulting in amazing, echoing noises. Personal fireworks have been banned, however.

Depoe Bay. No events.

On Gleneden Beach Loop. 4th of July Festivities 11 AM - 6 PM. Parade starts at 1 PM. Live music, delightful vendors offering unique goods, delicious food to indulge in, and of course, a fantastic parade that will wind its way through the area. Gleneden Beach, Oregon. See Lincoln City site

Lincoln City. The first Oregon coast town to go all electronic with a drone display. Personal fireworks are banned here. Lincoln City First on Oregon Coast with Drone Shows 

Pacific City. No events planned. See Tillamook Coast

Cloverdale’s annual Clover’s Day Celebration on July 5 transforms the town into a lively tribute to agriculture and community spirit. Leading the parade is Clover, a cherished dairy cow, as the village embraces the theme “Red, White and Moo.” See Tillamook Coast

4th of July Parade and Fireworks in Rockaway Beach, Oregon Coast. Parade at 11 a.m., festivities include a bake sale, dachshund races, and a flyover by the National Guard. Pronto Pups, and fun stuff at the beach wayside. Hot dogs with fresh veggies, various food trucks, car show and a military jet flyover. Manzanita’s Fourth of July Parade brings the entire town together in a vibrant display of local pride. This year’s theme, "Hometown Pride: Family, Friends, and Fun!" Spectators can expect a delightful mix of marching bands, oversized crab floats, and even energetic librarians dancing their way through the procession. Festivities begin at 1 p.m. on July 4. Cannon Beach has always hosted a Fireworks-Free Fourth of July. Festivities include small-town Independence Day Parade, opportunities to spot Tufted Puffins during the Great Puffin Watch, and a variety of community events. Visitors can enjoy a free hotdog cookout at the Cannon Beach Fire Station, or outdoor movie screening in the city park. More details can be found at https://www.cannonbeach.org.

Seaside. July 4. The Seaside Museum hosts a lively Fourth of July Social at 570 Necanicum Dr., running from noon to 4 p.m. Guests can savor classic holiday favorites like hamburgers and hot dogs. Seasideor.com.

Seaside's 4th of July Parade. 1 p.m. This annual parade is always much fun for families and participants, rain or shine. Arriving early is strongly suggested. Seasideor.com.

4th of July Fireworks Celebration. 10 p.m. One of the largest official fireworks shows in Oregon, right on the beach. No fireworks – including legal fireworks – are allowed in the “Free Zone” on the immediate north and south of the Turnaround, inside the orange fencing. Only fireworks legal in Oregon are allowed in city limits and on the beach.Seasideor.com.

Astoria and Warrenton are set to celebrate Independence Day with festive traditions and community gatherings. July 3 at the historic Liberty Theatre with a free concert featuring patriotic standards and nostalgic tunes. Hosted by the North Coast Symphonic Band, this event marks the start of their 45th season. Doors open at 6 p.m., with the concert beginning at 7 p.m. oldoregon.com.

On July 4, the Astoria Riverfront Trolley is expected to operate from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., though final details for 2025 are still to be confirmed. oldoregon.com.

2025 Warrenton 4th of July Parade: Red, White, & Coastal Cool. This year’s theme is Red, White, & Coastal Cool - a celebration of patriotic spirit with a fun coastal twist. There's a free community barbecue with hot dogs and hamburgers, classic car show at 2 p.m. and the parade at 3 p.m. oldoregon.com.
