Yet surprisingly, maybe that's not quite true everywhere along the coastline.

A1 Beach Rentals in Lincoln City has just dropped the prices on some stunning vacation rentals in town. It's like a sale in the middle of summer's high night rates on the Oregon coast, providing a little relief not just from the heat but also your wallet.

Here's four examples.

Whispering Waves, a stylish oceanfront condo in Lincoln City, is now available for $229 per night. This upscale retreat accommodates four guests and features a covered patio, private hot tub, fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, gas range, and granite countertops. A striking rock fireplace adds to the charm of the living space, located in the heart of downtown within walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the beach. Whispering Waves

Kristy's Cottage in Gleneden Beach is offering a 20% discount for July, with rates now ranging from $268 to $330 per night. This beachfront escape is perfect for those seeking solitude, featuring two queen bedrooms and a variety of luxurious amenities for a comfortable stay.

It sleeps four and is in a particularly quiet, unpopulated part of the central Oregon coast.

It's a special one for stargazing, said A1 owner Karen Scrutton.

“So dark and beautiful at night highlighting stars and sparkly white surf,” she said.

Nantucket House, a character-rich house in Lincoln City, has also been discounted by 20%, with July rates between $191 and $285 per night. It's a comfy and cajoling vacation rental where wood paneling soars above you: quite literally it's part of the walls through to the ceilings.

This historic home, built in 1946, showcases timeless charm, elegant French glass doors, and a nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of the swing music era. It includes an outdoor hot tub and two observation decks, offering scenic views of the coastline - whether it’s calm and clear or dramatically stormy.

Moonbreaker., a picturesque oceanfront property at Roads End in Lincoln City, is available at reduced rates in July, now ranging from $350 to $450 per night. This Cape Cod-style retreat offers private beach access via its own staircase, a spacious deck, and a jetted tub, all complemented by a cozy historic aesthetic.
