The program, called Local Vacation Loot, runs February 1 through March 31, 2026. Travelers who book a minimum two-night stay for two people at a participating hotel will receive up to $120 in credits to use on select local adventures, dining, and attractions.

How it works:

Guests must call participating hotels directly and mention the promotion when reserving their stay. After booking lodging, visitors are encouraged to secure their activities in advance, especially charter fishing trips and ATV excursions, which often fill quickly.

Upon check-in, guests receive a Local Vacation Loot package that includes two $50 coupons - one per person - valid toward charter fishing, ATV or kayak rentals, or dining at participating businesses. The package also includes two passes to one of three local museums and a 20 percent discount on a single item at either the Coos Bay or North Bend visitor information centers.

Coupons are valid only during the promotional window through March 31 and hold no cash value. They may be applied toward eligible activities or meals, with guests responsible for any remaining balance above $50. Any unused portion of a coupon is forfeited.

There's a host of hotels and eateries involved.

Organizers emphasize the importance of booking outdoor excursions several days ahead and reminding outfitters that Local Vacation Loot will be used.

This partial list shows the outdoor businesses and museums involved. See link for full list of hotels and restaurants.
