Sometimes the most fun you can have on the Oregon coast is just a little bit inland, where Toledo sits up river from Newport.

Set for Saturday and Sunday, August 2–3, from 12 to 5 p.m., the free community event welcomes guests of all ages to enjoy:

- Exhibitions and booths featuring regional artists in painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media

- Live performances by bands including Whole Lotta Louis, Wild Hog in the Woods, Tyler Spencer, Revel’n, Jane Doe, and Johnny Wheels & the Swamp Donkeys

- A beer and wine garden serving craft brews, fine wines, and chilled beverages

- Fresh oysters provided by Timbers Restaurant & Lounge, alongside local food trucks and eateries

Music & Mural Walk: The weekend also coincides with the First Weekend Art Celebration at the Yaquina River Museum of Art, featuring a self-guided mural walk and access to local galleries.

“Chalk the Block” and Cash Prizes: The popular “Chalk the Block” art experience invites participants of all ages to decorate sidewalks with their own creations. Art supplies will be provided at the ART Toledo booth. Judging begins at 5 p.m. Sunday, awarding cash prizes in four categories: ages 0–11, 12–18, Adult, and Group/Family.
