The Beach, Bike & Blues Festival returns to Waldport on Saturday, September 12, marking its fifth year and now with a new home at Treasure Bay Resort on the south end of the Alsea Bay Bridge. The event brings six hours of live blues music, coastal food vendors, family activities and a full day of community festivities on the waterfront.

There's even that legendary trolley.

This year’s music lineup features Whole Lotta Louis with Ronnie Jay Pirrello, old-school blues from Paul Schuytema, Skip Jones & The Spirit of New Orleans, and Cascade Blues Association Muddy Award winners Sonny Hess, Lisa Mann and Kelly Pierce. Performances run from late morning through late afternoon.

Festival-goers will encounter a wide range of food options, including wood-fired pizza from Captain’s Crust Pizza, fresh seafood from Sea Bre’s Premium Seafood, desserts and soups from Chubby Lil’ Mermaid, and specialty coffee drinks from Little Heifer Coffee Cart.

Dig into the vendor fair, showcasing Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln County, Sweet Homes Vacation Getaways, Oregon Beach Girl Designs, South Beach Manor and Hillside Place Assisted Living, Waldport/Newport KOA, Kelly Nine Photography, Leaffilter, McKinley’s RV Resort & Marina, and 101 Things to Do Magazine.

Activities include the 18-hole Bonsai Golf Course, Oregon microbrews on tap, local wines and sodas, and free pedi-cab rides provided by Green Bike Co-Op, which is also offering a chance to win a bike. The venue includes a kids’ play area, merchandise booths and views of the Alsea Bay Bridge.

Music Schedule:

“Thank you to Dahl Disposal and to our friends in Yachats who will be giving free trolley rides from the parking areas at Louis Southworth Park and Kendall Ball Fields,” said chamber CEO Tom Fullmer.

The festival is open to all ages, and leashed dogs are welcome. The site is ADA accessible, with designated handicap parking near the entrance.

Parking is available throughout Waldport, with shuttle service running all day via the Yachats Area Trolley. Green Bike Co-Op’s pedi-cabs will also circulate between key points.

Tickets are $10 for adults, while those 18 and under are free. See the tickets links here

In 2025, they had to drastically shift the dates of the event. It is the Oregon coast, after all.

It was back then connected to some major biking races in the area that happened at the same time, however it is now a connection to bike-riding by name only (along with a couple of smaller bike-oriented aspects).

Organizers held the increasingly-popular event in May for the first three years, and it snagged over 5,000 attendees fairly soon. Weather was less than ideal - you might even say “soggy” - each May. So Waldport opted for a new date to provide a warmer and more enjoyable experience for festival-goers. Despite the 2024 event's challenges with the weather, the festival welcomed more than 1,200 visitors representing 27 states and three countries.
