(Astoria, Oregon) – There's lots of reasons to party on the north coast – especially just the existence of Adtoria – but now a rather remarkable little theater is whooping it up over its anniversary, while also holding a fundraiser.
Ten Fifteen Productions marks a milestone anniversary this summer with the return of Performathon, a daylong fundraiser set for July 18 beginning at 10:15 a.m. The indie north Oregon coast company has set a $10,000 goal to help recover losses from an extended shutdown earlier this year while building repairs were underway.
The lineup spans storytelling, live music, theatre, dance and community showcases. Joanne Rideout will offer storytelling, with music from the Brownsmead Flats, Lake Laconic and others. Rob Kovatch hosts theatre trivia, and local artist Janice Leber premieres an original short play. The schedule also features highlights from Ten Fifteen’s education program and appearances by Daylight Cums, the AAMC Tappers and Triple Moon Bellydance. A full schedule is posted on the ticketing site.
Food from Mis Panchos will be available for purchase throughout the day, and the Ten Fifteen bar will be open with additional snacks for performers and audiences.

Supporters unable to attend in person can join a virtual silent auction launching July 12, offering experiences, local goods, services and other items.
Performathon 2026 runs from 10:15 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. on July 18. Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for children under 12, and include admission to the After Party, which begins at 10:30 p.m. After Party tickets may also be purchased separately for $10.

Also in the north Oregon coast town, the Astoria Column is kicking up dust with its centennial celebration.
Look for the massive party in July.
Centennial Celebration - July 18th. 11 am - 4 pm.
Astoria Column Rededication - July 18th. 2 pm
Centennial events planned for 2026 will highlight the Column’s legacy and invite new audiences to engage with Astoria’s past. A multicultural community celebration will feature entertainment, food, arts and crafts, and local heritage groups. A rededication ceremony will also take place at the base of the Column, with additional events scheduled throughout the year. The place came highly recommended from friends, so I figured it was going to be good. But I wasn't prepared for this awesome. I felt soooo at home. Room with a balcony right on the ocean ? that was incredible. It may not be upscale but it's not far from that at all. Went with the family and our favorite thing was sitting in that enclosed area at dusk, watching the Prom and sipping the early evening away. Just gorgeous all around. Will so be back. 4/12/2025
