(Manzanita, Oregon) - Tucked into a space between the oceanfront and Manzanita's charming little streets, Ocean Inn at Manzanita is one of those lovely little finds with a welcoming blend of coastal comfort and local character. There's almost a bit of an indie European cottage vibe to the place, yet it's full-on rugged coastal Oregon.

Ocean Inn Reviews / Roundup

The downhome, independent experience begins with a warm welcome in the lobby. On weekends, guests can enjoy fresh coffee from Astoria Coffee Company in the lobby, along with baked treats from The Roost in Wheeler and handcrafted chocolates from Bruce’s Candy Kitchen in nearby Cannon Beach. In every suite, premium locally roasted coffee provides the perfect companion for a quiet (yet energized) coastal morning.

Designed for both short getaways and extended stays, the inn offers much of the comforts of home with a seriously kicked-back beach town atmosphere. Select accommodations feature full kitchens with full-size appliances, while every suite includes secure Wi-Fi, 43-inch flat-screen TVs with DVD players, American Leather Comfort Sleeper sofas, quality linens and basic cookware. Natura bath amenities and limited maid service, available upon request, add to the convenience.

When it's time to head outdoors, Ocean Inn makes it easy to embrace the coast. Guests can borrow folding beach chairs for afternoons on the sand, beach sheets for post-stroll comfort and umbrellas for those classic Oregon misty days.

From locally sourced treats to beach-ready essentials, every detail at Ocean Inn at Manzanita is designed to help guests settle in, slow down and enjoy the timeless charm of the Oregon Coast.

Nick C via TripAdvisor wrote:

“This hotel is fantastic, on the beach, and the best hotel I’ve stayed at on the Oregon Coast. The hotel is right on the end of Laneda, so close to the beach that you can open your windows and hear the surf. Each hotel is like a mini apartment: Nice, well-stocked kitchen, full fridge, nice beds, a wood-burning fireplace, and a patio. …..The service was friendly, personable, and knew me by name once I checked in. I cannot rave about this hotel enough. (They offer bike rental for beach cruising, too, if you’re inclined.)”

Tillamook Coast wrote:

“Led by owner Janice Zagata, the Ocean Inn balances a warm coastal hospitality with a deep commitment to protecting our beaches and natural spaces. Through initiatives like the Kind Traveler program and Ocean Stewards—where guests can help remove microplastics from local beaches—Ocean Inn gives back to the North Coast Land Conservancy and inspires visitors to care for the coast. Guests leave with lasting memories and a renewed appreciation for the unique beauty of Manzanita and the Tillamook Coast.” 503-368-7701. 2 Laneda Ave. Manzanita, Oregon. See website.
