(Seaside, Oregon) – In an unobtrusive and classy kind of way, it soars above the beach and the famed Prom. A slight hint of '60s retro with plenty of modern beach pleasantries, the architecture almost seems to hint at different decades at once. Yet in the end the feel of it is just....fun. All about having fun. Watching the beach from the windows. Watching the waves from the third floor balconies. Listening to the beach. Vibing the beach from their patio.
It's all about simply being at the beach.
Unless of course the beach doesn't wsant you out there. In the case of crazed inclement weather (yeah, because the Oregon coast never does that...right?), the Seashore Inn on the Beach has a lovely indoor pool.
This chunk of Oregon coast has always been about the family-centered destination: Seaside was built around that generations ago. The mile-and-a-half Promenade is the ultimate mix of that energy and the natural wonders of this massive beach (perhaps the widest on the entire coastline).
Seashore Inn on the Beach sits right up on that, serving as a coastal escape with all the comforts built in. Along with those sweeping Pacific views, guests get a lineup of pleasing perks: complimentary breakfast, a heated indoor pool, hot tub, sauna, and free internet access. The hotel keeps you close to the action, including the Lewis & Clark trailhead and a long list of family-friendly attractions.

It works well as family getaway or a romantic weekend for two; an oceanfront spot that can even include your dog trotting along beside you. Pet-friendly rooms make it easy to bring them along for the adventure.
All this is only a ten-minute drive to Cannon Beach and about 20 minutes to Manzanita. Between here and there you could encounter the cloistered wonders of Arch Cape or the wave drama of the Neahkahnie Overlooks. Another 15 or so minutes north is the Battery Russell and its ancient World War II battlement remnants as well as the wreck of the Peter Iredale. Another 5 minutes north of that and you enter Goonies Land: Astoria and all its historical and quirky qualities.

For those who want to level up the experience, the oceanfront kitchenette rooms add even more comfort. These feature full kitchens and private balconies or decks that look straight out over the beach - ideal for sunset watching, storm-watching, or just lounging with a cup of coffee.
Every room comes stocked with the essentials: free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, coffee makers with coffee provided, comfortable beds and pillows, fans, and full bathrooms with plush towels. Deluxe and Classic Rooms step it up with pillow-top mattresses, and all guests can count on that complimentary light continental breakfast to kick off the day.

For an extra added dose of relaxation and repose, there's that sizable outdoor patio. With glass shielding you from the winds, it's a nice touch for those rather raucous days where you want to watch the sunset without sand drifting into your evening beverage. It has a sleek and intriguing design as well.
