(Lincoln City, Oregon) – April and May just continue their parade of fun 'n funky surprises along this coastline. Killer whales are popping up like crazy, along with other whale sightings in the area. Some dramatic finds are being made on the beaches (like that that thing that looks like a barracuda but isn't), and there's always spring sunset colors that make for something very unique to this time of year. There's also still some tasty cut hotel rates floating about. Three Lincoln City hotels recently announced a promo that lets you take a bunch off of your booking. Surfland Hotel, Inn at Wecoma and Coho Oceanfront Lodge are owned by VIP Hospitality, and the company's Rob Lee said these are all in place until June 1.

If you stay three nights or more you get the entire bill at 15% off. Hit the reservations page for any of the hotels and when you get to “rate options” enter promo code STY3. Or you can call in your reservation.

Each of the hotels are close to everything you could want in the central Oregon coast town: especially the beaches.

Back in 2022, the Nordic Oceanfront Inn underwent a transformation, emerging as the Surfland Hotel - a sleek and adventurous 53-room establishment that draws its name from an intriguing facet of Lincoln City's history (the town was almost called Surfland back in the '60s).

In addition to the name change, the hotel was extensively remodeled, unveiling a sophisticated and polished design, particularly within its interiors. Vibrant patterns and bold colors now define its aesthetic, complemented by the addition of an eye-catching courtyard. This stunning outdoor space evokes the atmosphere of a hip, exclusive urban retreat - but here, it’s infused with the refreshing ocean breeze.

Guests can enjoy a variety of amenities, including outdoor barbecues, an indoor pool, a sauna, and fire pits.

All rooms face the ocean, with balconies and patios offering uninterrupted views - perfect for watching the dramatic, roaring Oregon coast storms. For an even closer connection to the sea, guests can relax on the expansive sundeck or follow the walkway that leads directly to the beach.

The Surfland Hotel is located at 2133 NW Inlet Ave, Lincoln City, Oregon. For more information, call 541-994-8145 or visit Surfland Hotel

The Inn at Wecoma is a delightful surprise when it comes to lodging prices in this area; it may not seem like it at first glance, but it’s a bit gentler on the wallet.

This charming Lincoln City hotel showcases the visual appeal of a well-regarded, perhaps even upscale coastal inn, while its exterior quietly nods to a bygone era. Traces of the original 1970s architecture are still evident, adding a touch of nostalgia.

The hotel is rich with eye-catching details, from the warm room palettes to the gentle, earthy lighting. Throughout the Inn at Wecoma, you’ll find whimsical and endearing artwork, often in the form of historical or beach photographs that are captivating and even a bit chic in their aesthetic. Polished wood accents and soothing earth tones create a balanced atmosphere that blends modern elegance with the charm of yesteryear.

Amenities: The Inn offers an array of conveniences, including a hairdryer, microwave, mini-fridge, board games, expanded cable channels, a hot continental breakfast, DVD player, high-tech alarm clocks, and more.

Inn at Wecoma is at 2945 NW Hwy 101, Lincoln City, Oregon. 541-994-2984. www.innatwecoma.com.
