(Oceanside, Oregon) – The tiny town along the Three Capes Tour has bundles to offer. Just before you get to the third and final cape of Cape Meares, Oceanside stands out as a tiny village in the middle of almost-nowhere with a massive load of things to do. Once a secret within a secret, the tunnel going through Maxwell Point and the beach on the other side are now common knowledge. Even if the name of that beach is slightly up in the air.

N #Oregon Coast: the first documentation of a major chunk of Cape Kiwanda falling off. Back in 2011 - the only documentation of this event. Before that year, there was a massive arch over the southern of the Pacific City-area hotspot. Then in that year it crumbled.
Curiously, it left behind a load of boulders that kept the tide more at bay, allowing you to walk over and check it out.
N. #OregonCoast: a slow walk around Oceanside on the other side of the tunnel. You can actually hear the "magic rocks" phenomenon.....but just barely. It blends in with the surf. Oceanside is one of those few spots on the coast with this curious noise, although Cape Falcon and Bayocean are where it happens more audibly.
Quick Look Around Pacific City. Check out the area south of Oceanside on the southern edge of the Three Capes Loop. Awe-inspiring sunsets and funky details abound.
Deeper inside Oceanside: Along the Three Capes Tour, there's Oceanside, Oregon Coast. Practically at the very end of it. Always assaulting the basalt: those waves. Seem them closer and closer - until you can witness details of foam erupting in micro displays of elegance. Unless you slow wave action, you can't tell it happens.
