(Brookings, Oregon) – They may be sleepy little towns, but sometimes they make quite a roar. (Above: courtesy Nature's Coastal Holiday)
Oregon's Curry Coast is comprised of Gold Beach, Brookings and Port Orford: three small burghs with a surprising amount of activity going on. That starts with the holidays, as each town gets buzzing in its way to end out 2025.
Then comes 2026, which brings a flurry of fun to Brookings especially. They host pirates, lots of art and food, a party in 1920s style, some major music festivals and much more. Gold Beach gets dreamy again with its glass float treasure hunt early in the year.
Many of the previewed events did not have exact dates that could be confirmed just yet. Check the Oregon Coast Calendar in 2026 periodically to see if and when dates are confirmed.
