So from that realm comes singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Mike Love, who is about to deliver a rare solo appearance at The Beach Club in Lincoln City on Saturday, June 28. The early evening show begins at 5 p.m., with doors opening at 4:30 p.m.

Love, known internationally for his genre-blending approach and message-driven songwriting, builds his performances live using looping techniques that layer guitar, bass, percussion, and vocals into a full, evolving sound. His music draws from roots reggae, soul, rock, blues, and world influences, all anchored by themes of unity, environmental awareness, and personal transformation.

Presented by Debra Heesch and ZuhG Life Surf Shop, the Lincoln City performance offers a more personal setting than Love’s typical festival and theater appearances. The Beach Club’s Oregon coast backdrop provides a close-up environment for audiences to experience the intricacy of his musicianship and the emotional weight of his lyrics.

Love, who releases his work independently through his Love Not War Records label, has built a global following for concerts that emphasize connection and consciousness. His solo shows often highlight the improvisational nature of his looping style, creating arrangements that feel spontaneous while remaining deeply intentional.

Tickets for the Lincoln City performance are available through Ticket Tomato, priced at $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The event is open to all ages.
