There's an enormous amount of events crammed into those few days, including chances to visit the Goonies house in person, take part in interactive / immersive experiences that put you inside the movie, as well as dances, treasure hunts, exhibits and a whole host of Goonie goodies.

See Goonies Weekend site for full roster.

Goonies fans will have the opportunity to see the iconic Goonies house during Goonies Weekend, though access levels may vary. In a generous effort to support the Oregon Film Museum’s Expansion Project, the homeowners have opened their doors for this special event, with all proceeds from house-related activities going directly to the museum.

Visitors are reminded that this is a residential neighborhood, and it's important to avoid disrupting the daily lives of those who live there. Please respect all posted no-parking signs and street closures. Be mindful of your impact on the area and follow a pack-it-in, pack-it-out approach to waste—do not leave trash behind.

Goonies Weekend visiting hours must be strictly followed, as visits outside the posted times are considered trespassing. The schedule is as follows:

Thursday: 9 AM to 8 PM
Friday: Unavailable—please plan visits on other days
Saturday: 9 AM to 6 PM
Sunday: 9 AM to 8 PM

To manage traffic and minimize disruptions for local residents, certain streets in the area will be closed. Parking is available at the East Mooring Basin Lot, located at Leif Erickson Drive and 36th, depending on availability. Please note that this is a paid parking lot.

Cast and Crew Panels are sold out, unfortunately – as are the VIP Cocktail Parties.

Corey Feldman, Kerri Green, Robert Davi, Mark Marshall, and Paul Tuerpe will take the stage for a special Cast and Crew Panel during Goonies Weekend. These exclusive events are held at the Liberty Theatre, offering fans a rare opportunity to hear firsthand stories, insights, and behind-the-scenes memories from the people who helped bring The Goonies to life.

Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of the film’s creation and its lasting impact through engaging discussions and personal anecdotes from the cast and crew. Whether you’re a longtime fan or discovering the film’s magic for the first time, this is a unique chance to celebrate its legacy alongside those who made it possible.

The Heritage Museum invites visitors to explore Quiet on Set! Behind the Scenes with The Goonies, an exclusive exhibition running from Thursday, June 5, 2025, at 10:00 AM through Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM. Located at 1618 Exchange Street in Astoria, Oregon, the museum is a Neo-Classical landmark operated by the Clatsop County Historical Society. With a rich past that includes serving as housing for north Oregon coast military personnel during WWII, the building itself is a piece of history.

This special exhibition showcases never-before-seen footage and materials from The Goonies, offering fans a rare glimpse behind the scenes of the iconic film. As the 40th anniversary approaches, the Heritage Museum is honored to be a key site for celebrating the movie’s legacy and sharing its history with visitors from around the world.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children ages 6 to 17, with tickets available at the door. The museum is open daily from 10 AM to 5 PM.

Celebrate Goonies Weekend with a special screening of The Goonies at the historic Columbian Theater on Friday, June 6, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Experience the magic of this beloved classic in the heart of Astoria, just a short distance from where it was originally filmed. Whether you’re discovering it for the first time or revisiting it for the hundredth, watching the movie on the big screen surrounded by fellow fans makes the adventure even more unforgettable.

Under The Grate is a one-of-a-kind, interactive art experience running throughout Goonies Weekend from June 5th to 8th. Located at 667 Duane Street in Astoria, Oregon, each tour lasts approximately 45 minutes and offers fans the chance to fully immerse themselves in the world of The Goonies.

Designed for all ages, this exhibit captures the film’s adventurous spirit through immersive installations and themed photo opportunities. Visitors are encouraged to bring their friends, family, and cameras, as this special experience is available exclusively during Goonies Weekend.

Guests can explore meticulously recreated scenes from the movie, stepping into iconic moments brought to life with carefully crafted set pieces and displays. Throughout the space, interactive photo stations allow visitors to become part of the story, posing alongside elements such as One-Eyed Willy and the legendary chattering teeth. The exhibit’s decor features treasures, vintage artifacts, and hidden details that pay tribute to the film’s unforgettable imagery.

Tour Ecola State Park with a Guide - Sunday, June 8, 2025, 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM. Step into the breathtaking beauty of Ecola State Park and some deep nostalgia. It is, after all, where cinematic history took place on the Oregon coast in a very salient way.

Yet why do this with a guide?

Patrick Lines, a retired Oregon State Parks ranger present during The Goonies filming in 1984 and 1985, brings firsthand knowledge of both the park and its cinematic legacy. His insights add a deeper appreciation for the intersection of nature and pop culture, making this tour a truly memorable experience. He'll connect Goonies lore with some new coastal places for you.

Down near Seaside, the 2nd Annual GoonFest Brewfest returns to McMenamin’s Gearhart Hotel on Saturday, June 7, offering a full day of craft beer, lawn games, and nostalgic ’80s vibes. Just a short distance from Astoria, where *The Goonies* was filmed, this festival features 24 themed beers and ciders, a treasure hunt, specialty taps, and plenty of photo-worthy moments. Tickets are $33 in advance ($38 day of) and include 10 tasting tokens and a souvenir glass.
Let me know if you’d like any further refinements. See GoonFest Brewfest
