Oregon Coast New Year's Eve Lodging Availability

(Oregon Coast) – New Year's tends to get sucked up more at the last minute on the Oregon coast, as opposed to reservations being made well ahead of time. But it does book all the way up, leaving little or no room for those who didn’t reserve their lodgings ahead of time.

You don’t want to just head out to the coast for New Year’s Eve and hope to find a place to stay after you’ve partied like it was 1999. It probably won’t happen. You’ll wind up sleeping on the beach or something dreadful like that.

On the other hand, many places are at their most inexpensive of the year, and quite a few are offering hot deals – even for the high density New Year’s Eve.

This list is provided for those who haven’t made prior reservations for the holiday. Openings can and will change at local vacation rentals, hotels and motels. Call ahead of time to make sure. Here, you’ll find lodging openings in Gearhart, Seaside, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Nehalem, Pacific City, Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, Waldport, Yachats and Florence.

Seaside

For over 80 years a favorite of Seaside visitors. 51 oceanfront condos, individually owned and decorated. Suites for couples, small apartments with fireplaces and kitchenettes, one or two bed family units with fireplaces, kitchens and dining rooms. Condo-hotel that offers the amenities of a fine hotel, but also includes ownership of a vacation home on the north Oregon coast. It is a unique opportunity, as condo owners have an opportunity to share in the revenues of their unit. All have either spectacular, nearly aerial views of the ocean and city, or they gaze out at the lush forests of the coast range mountains. There are private balconies in all rooms, which come as studios or units with one bedroom or two - as large as 850 square feet. Each is fully furnished. $189,000 to $449,000, (with most in the $300,000 range.) When owners are not using their units, they may be rented out as hotel rooms, and owners may share in those revenues.
