North Oregon Coast hotels and other lodgings will get gushy in the latter half of February. In fact, many of them are great bargains during this time of year.

In Wheeler, the stunning, charming Old Wheeler Hotel oozes romance with a shimmering delirium. All rooms are bay view, and the place is like stepping back in time. So, while Valentine’s Day falls on a Tuesday, you get the lovely mid-week rates of around $60 per night (instead of $95 in summer). Crawl a few miles up the road to stay in a castle – just a few miles south of Cannon Beach.
