Wolfe, on Sunday, February 18, at 8 p.m.

Wolfe’s performing
experience dates back to 1979 when he began playing on the New York scene
with his band, Troy & the Tornados, playing club venues including
the Lone Star Cafe, The Ritz, Tramps and Rodeo Bar.
He went west in 1990 to write
and record a demo with a then unknown backup singer named Sheryl Crow.
He later joined her touring band following the release of “Tuesday
Night Music Club.”

He played lead guitar
in the band until 1998, touring the world as the opening act for the Rolling
Stones, the Eagles, Bob Dylan, and Joe Cocker, among others.
The band Wolfe was born during
the downtime from the Crow tours. The band features a mix of original
rock and blues songs with classics by Howlin' Wolf and Robert Johnson.
It has shared the bill with The Allman Brothers, Black Crowes, Blues Traveler,
Peter Frampton, Johnny Winter, and John Mayall's Bluesbreakers.

Wolfe is the former
host of the renowned blues jam at New York's premier blues club, Manny's
Carwash, for several years, and recorded the well-received, "Live
from Manny's Carwash" CD there. Wolfe has also released a self-titled
studio debut and a second album of originals, “Delaware Crossing.”
That
latest offering is a rocking treat full of jams and guitar tidbits of
genius. This CD puts a sonic revival on classics like "Stranger Blues,"
while Wolfe’s rendition of "See What Love Can Do" is evocative
of Fleetwood Mac at their absolute best. "One Lost Love" is
a well-crafted and stylish original that is steeped in beauty and sadness,
while the Pumpkinesque "Gates of Heaven" and the very real,
very live "Wolfe Jam" round out the blend of classic and modern
sensibilities. “Love Gone Bad” is an original heavy blues
ballad in the tradition of Led Zeppelin, covered by Larry McCray last
year. John Popper (of Blues Traveler) lent a hand and a harp once again
on “Stranger Blues” and “Tumblin' Down.”
So
far “Delaware Crossing” has met with sizable critical acclaim.
The
band Wolfe has been touring non-stop and will be opening dates this summer
for former Allman Brother Dickey Betts. Todd most recently completed a
tour with the legendary guitarist of "Mountain" fame, Leslie
West. Their duet shows in the UK and Spain were received with much critical
praise.
Aside from his stint with Crow,
Todd has been a guitar devil for the likes of Carla Olson, and traded
licks with Eric Clapton, Leslie West, The Allmans and many others.
There is no cover for the February
18 show.
The
Landmark is located at 111 Hwy 101 in Yachats. (541) 547-5459.
