Oregon Coast Entertainment: Seaside Art Walk This Weekend

(Seaside, Oregon) - March third's Seaside Art Walk will have 15 stops, providing a relaxing day at the beach to soak up the fun. Take some time to stroll along Broadway, stopping at participating places for art, culture and conversation - along with the Trail’s End Art Association in Gearhart as well.

DIVE INTO LUXURY, HISTORY AT THE TIDES

THE TIDES BY THE SEA, Seaside. For over 80 years a favorite of Seaside visitors. 51 oceanfront condos, individually owned and decorated. Suites for couples, small apartments with fireplaces and kitchenettes, one or two bed family units with fireplaces, kitchens and dining rooms. The Seaside Art Walk happens the first Saturday of each month from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. and is sponsored by the Seaside Chamber of Commerce. Businesses host or feature an artist, author or musical talent, and some even provide refreshments or appetizers.

Saturday evening, “Art Walk Stop” signs are put out to mark participating places; you will also find maps to guide you on to the next location. If you’d like to preplan your walk, maps can be downloaded from www.seasidechamber.com or picked up at the Seaside Visitor’s Bureau, 7 N Roosevelt Dr., Mon. - Sat. from 8-5 and Sun. 11-5.

The Shearwater Gallery - 111 Broadway Suite 11. Hosting reception for local multi-media artist Kim McCarthy

Art Works - 300 Broadway. Featuring Vicky McGrath, Francisco Rangel and C.L. Bogs.

Ernst & Ernst - 15 Broadway. Carrying a selection of fine art and limited edition prints by some of America’s top artists including Howard Terpning, William Phillips and Bev Doolittle.

Arch Cape Property Services. Dozens of homes in that dreamy, rugged stretch between Cannon Beach and Manzanita known as Arch Cape. Oceanfront and ocean view , or just a short walk from the sea.
