Jobs
on the Oregon Coast
BeachConnection.net is hiring ad sales reps
Get
Paid to go to the Oregon Coast! Or, if you're already living here
- get paid to have fun, working part time or full time!
Looking
for ad sales reps for area between Florence and Astoria (upper Lane,
Lincoln, Tillamook and Clatsop Counties). Can live on coast full
or part time; or if you live in the valley, be willing to commute
at least two days a week. Your territory is up to you, and hours
whenever you can.
You will:
- Be contract
and commission only, but high (very high) commission. Five to ten
hrs a week will probably earn you close to $1000 a month; 20 hrs
a week close to $2000 a month. An experienced pro could easily do
more.
Some draws available
after two weeks - but you won't need it.
Large bonus
at end of first full month working for us.
- Need reliable
email access close at hand
- Need reliable transportation
- Be dealing with tourism businesses like lodging and restaurants,
attractions and real estate
- Be knowledgeable about Internet and selling online ad space (or
able to learn)
- Be able to learn and then explain our cutting edge, innovative
(but VERY exciting) features to people not always web savvy
- Have hours up to you; and as part time or full time as you wish
Our website:
- Sells easily:
usually 3 out of five are sold on us
- Is growing
quickly, and very much thinks outside the box
- Excites those
we talk to about us
- Has its own
segment on TV in NW Oregon; was regularly featured all over the
regional media, including national talk radio (see
below for more)
- Has other
major publicity pushes going behind it, including constant community
relations, which make us well known to potential clients and to
readers
- Has more
than 1200 pages of coastal info
- Has other
features that will make your job easier
Opportunities
in coastal print publications coming this year – if you’re
interested in that too. Other services we provide you can sell as
well.
Other Interesting
Aspects:
- At first, you get paid right away, as checks come
in
- After your first year, you are only calling on people to renew
their year package on the site - almost no work involved at that
point (so far, everyone from last year has renewed without batting
an eye)
Apply by sending
resume and brief intro letter as text in the email or word document.
Don’t forget phone number and email address. Send
email to beachconnection@yahoo.com

Lincoln
City Vacation Homes
There’s something for everyone
among this selection of wondrous homes: smaller homes with a view
to a large house that sleeps 15. All the homes are either oceanfront
or just a few steps away from the sand – all with a low
bank access and fantastic views. Most are in the Nelscott area;
one is close to the casino. You’ll find a variety of goodies,
depending on the home: fireplaces, multiple bedrooms, dishwashers,
Jacuzzis, washer/dryers, hot tubs, cable TV, VCR, barbecues; there’s
a loft in one, and another sprawling home has two apartments.
Pets are allowed in some homes – ask ahead. Each comes with
complete kitchens so you’ll have a home away from home.
Most have the seventh night free. Prices range from winter $85
to summer $230 per night. www.getaway2thecoast.com.
