In the center of town, the main access is sometimes called Ocean's Edge Wayside (mostly it's just Rockaway Beach) and features views of Neahkahnie to the far north and glimpses of Twin Rocks to the south.

There are a total of seven miles of pristine sands here.

Often, this wayside boasts a giant volleyball net for public fun. You'll also find restrooms, plenty of parking, a restaurant with a lounge along with the visitors center here.
