On really warm days in Cannon Beach (like this one), the sun makes a spectacular splash as hordes of humans gather on the beaches and at their oceanfront rooms to soak at all in. The world here seems to stand still. Everyone and their dog (literally) have turned their attention westward. Camera flashes fire off left and right.
