Oregon Coast Lodging Report for Week of Aug. 25 and Labor Day
(Oregon Coast) – It’s a jungle out there on the Oregon coast in late summer, with lodgings big and small sucked up in no time by beach-hungry and sleepy travelers who’ve actually made their reservations well ahead of time. For those last minute visitors, however, BeachConnection.net may have become your coastal guardian angel. Like every Friday, BC posts lodging availability for the weekend and weekdays, but this time we’ve included some openings for Labor Day weekend as well, as most lodgings are currently already booked up for that weekend. Make sure you call and doublecheck before you head out, as these situations change quickly at times. Check back on BeachConnection.net’s news section next Thursday evening for Labor Day Weekend availability.
Seaside Sand and Sea Condominiums. Two one-bedroom side condo's are open for Friday and Saturday. They have two queen beds in the bedroom, full kitchen, fireplace and deck. $245 per night. 10th Avenue Inn B&B and Vacation Rental. One room still available: suite with a king-sized bed, private bath, TV/VCR and a small refrigerator. This cozy, quiet room has its own sitting room and dual-sided gas fireplace. The rate for two non-smoking adults is $129 for the evening, which includes a full breakfast. For Sunday, August 27, they have two rooms available that evening, plus one room on Monday. On Wednesday and Thursday of that week there is one room available, with two rooms available for Friday, September 1. Over the holiday weekend, their vacation rental - called The Doll House – is available. It can accommodate up to six guests and two vehicles. The rate is $160 per evening plus room tax. Nehalem River Inn. Lush and plush surroundings, shimmering with romance and exquisite old world style, all just a few miles from the beach in a river setting.
