Music & Travel: St. Patty’s, Spring Break on the Beach
(Seaside, Oregon) – It’s less than a
year old but it’s becoming legendary. Seaside’s Goose
Hollow at the Cove is making bigger waves on the Oregon coast with
a lineup of live music throughout March.
On
St. Paddy’s Day – Friday, March 17, Goose Hollow will
have green beers and Guinness, along with a performance by local
band Dismal Nitch (named after a Lewis & Clark landmark in Washington).
7:30 p.m. No cover.
Spring Break means more music at the cozy pub. Things
kick off with local bluegrass jammers Floating Glass Balls at 7:30
p.m. on Saturday, March 25.
March 28 and
29 means the regular nights hosted by the usual musicians.
March 30 brings
Jeffery Reynolds, a violinist and composer who performs music ranging
from Celtic, gypsy tunes and free improvisation to his own compositions.
7 p.m.
220 Ave U, Seaside. (503) 717-1940.
