February, 2004: Also unforgettable for me was this shot, taken at dusk at an incredibly warm February day. A little known secret about the coast is that February tends to be really warm and dry - more so than many spring months. As of this writing, I haven't talked to any meteorologists about this and done satisfactory research on the subject, but there is some data supporting this online through the Hatfield Marine Science Center.
