Northern Beaches - Covered in Hail
The beach is always a place full of fun and frivolity and the possibility for memories, but there are certainly plenty of surreal moments to be found if you're there at the right time.
Case in point: what looks like snow on the beach here is a large downpour of icy hail in January of 2005. The town on this day is covered in a wet, dirty shade of white, thanks to this odd, rare event on the coast.
