Just
south of Newport, Moolack Beach is one of those subtle wonders that
have been a classic standby with visitors for decades, yet never
too populated because parking is only available in small amounts
on the highway.
Look to the
north, and you’ll see the miles of sand ending at Otter Crest
and the Devil’s Punchbowl. On this day in February, 2004,
this beach was covered with post-winter storm debris, as well as
folks hunting for the agates that typically wash up after such events. |
