Continue up the road to the viewpoints beneath Neahkahnie Mountain, where incredible ocean vistas pop out all over, and the first views you'll see are Short Sands Beach from above. From here, winter brings on especially insane oceanic wonders, as enormous, awe-inspiring waves go barreling through the cove.

You can watch them from here in a particulary impressive angle, as their power and size become more apparent from above.
