VIRTUAL TOUR OF FLORENCE
Above Baker Beach at Sunset

As you round the twisting, winding corners of 101 that hover above the sea, passing the Sea Lion Caves, you come across an astounding view of the northern parts of Florence. Baker Beach pops into view, with its introduction to Florence's miles and miles of fluffy sands.

This shot was taken at sunset in summer of 2003, with the curve of the downward-sloping hill in the foreground.
