Club and the Caring Cabin. Nestucca’s Boosters supports athletics
and other extracurricular activities in local schools. Supported by the
Children’s Cancer Association, Caring Cabin is a lakeside retreat
near the Oregon Coast for families of critically ill children and those

Ale and Heiferweizen will debut.
The Summer Ales of England inspire this well-loved seasonal
beer which has a brilliant gold color and features Glacier hops that give
the ale a fruit, floral and herbal aroma. Golden Promise malt provides
a toasted malt flavor that combines with a bread-like wheat character
to give this beer a full-bodied, rounded malt aspect. Finishing smooth
and clean, Surfer’s Summer Ale promises to be a refreshing treat.

“The Heiferweizen is a Tillamook County classic with
its smooth and thirst quenching taste,” say Pub managers.
Yellow in color and somewhat hazy because it’s unfiltered,
this wheat brew has a snappy but mellow flavor and finishes smooth and
dry. Heiferweizen is fermented with Belgian-type yeast and lightly spiced
with orange peel, coriander and cardamom to give it a light, delicious
character which is both fruity and spicy.
The Pelican Pub can be found at the Zoo Brew at the Oregon
Zoo in Portland on May 30, and more appearances will happen throughout
the summer at various locations in the west coast.
