Oregon Coast Lodging Availability for Big Weekend

Cannon Beach actually has more lodging openings than anywhere else.

(Oregon Coast) – If you haven't made reservations yet for lodging on the coast during this big weekend, you may be in trouble. The vast majority of lodgings on the beaches are filled up – at least for Saturday. There is some availability on Saturdays, but it’s rare. Mostly, Friday and Sunday see some of the most openings.

If you plan to head there on Valentine’s Day, check these listings and make your reservations immediately: that night is going quickly.

Many romancers are taking advantage of not just Valentine’s Day falling on a weekend but the fact it’s a three-day weekend as well. The rush of customers comes as a very welcome boost to a tourism industry hurting because of a bad economy and the harsh effects of the snow storms of late December.

This availability report covers the upper half of the Oregon coast, and includes towns like Seaside, Cannon Beach, Manzanita, Pacific City, Lincoln City, Depoe Bay, Newport and Yachats.
