Labor Day Weekend Lodging Openings on Oregon Coast

The Tides by the Sea in Seaside is reporting openings.

(Oregon Coast) – Summer's last waltz has begun, with hordes heading to the beaches and filling up all motels, hotels, inns and vacation rentals.

And fill they will do, as few are reporting anything available. Yet, out of the hundreds that BeachConnection.net talks to for each lodging report, more are showing availability for this high-density holiday weekend than usual.

Perhaps it's a sign of the economic times. Florence, however, is reporting quite a few places open.

Make sure you make reservations ahead of time and do not try to head to the beach and hope to find a room. This will prove a disaster in most cases. As always, call ahead with these openings listed, as conditions will change.
