Newport, Oregon Events In May, Early Summer
(Newport,
Oregon) - The central Oregon coast is about to hit high gear. May sees
a bundle of events descend upon the town known as the "Dungeness
Crab Capital of the World." But there’s much more to do than
seafood in Newport, with a variety of music, theater, literary and outdoor
events. There’s also a nifty beer fest with a decidedly canine bent,
a highway cleanup and some fascinating science events at the Hatfield
Marine Science Center.
